SAT Live for the May 2025 SAT

from $820.00

Course Requirements

  • Student email

  • Laptop with Working Camera and Working Microphone

  • Cameras on during class!

SAT Live is a comprehensive SAT preparation course for the new, digital SAT test. The format of the test has changed, but some things will always be the same: independent and dependent clauses, subject-verb agreement, slope, subbing-in, and of course reading for the main idea. Much is different, however, including a completely redesigned Verbal side of the test and the introduction of Desmos on the Math side of the test. To be successful you need to know the test from top to bottom, from the meta-level concepts to the skills, tricks, and hacks that make up your toolkit.

Sessions take place over fully-interactive, engaging Zoom lessons. Each session is Live, with 100% student engagement. The lessons are positive, powerful, and dynamic. A working camera and microphone are required. Students must have cameras on for this course! A working student email is required. Email is essential for this course!

All materials are digital. Each lesson is recorded. Students are invited to a OneDrive folder where they can access all videos, lessons, study guides, and practice tests.

SAT Live for the May 2025 SAT meets weeknights--Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7 PM--for three weeks. The first class is on Monday April 14, 2025. There's one last Final Review session on Friday, May 2, the night before the May SAT. This is the only Friday that we meet.

Total Cost $820.

The Front Row

Obviously, in a virtual course there’s no more a front row than there is a back one.  The Front Row in SAT Digital is a new option for students who want to maximize their participation in the course.  Like always, every student is encouraged to ask questions at any time—this will never change.  Front Row students, however, are going to be under the spotlight every single class.  They will be asked the lion’s share of questions I direct individually.  I will be formally and informally assessing them continuously. When I’m looking to increase the participation or intensity of the group, I will be leaning on the Front Row

This is NOT the appropriate option if you are uncomfortable speaking in public/on Zoom.  But if you’re Ready for the Rigor, take a seat in the Front Row. Limited to four (4) students only.
